Mojokerto, Al-Amin – Another proud achievement was achieved by a student at the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School. M. Kenzo Saijiro, a seventh-grade student, won the 2026 Jasem Sport Arena U-12 Independence Tournament, held in the Ngoro area of Mojokerto in August 2026.
Kenzo achieved this achievement through a sport he has enjoyed since childhood: soccer. He joined a soccer club about a year ago and regularly trains to develop his skills.
In addition to training with the club in the Sumobito area of Jombang, Kenzo also actively trains within the Al-Amin community. He trains regularly every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
"I'm happy and proud to win a championship in the sport I love," said Kenzo.
His love of soccer also drives Kenzo to aspire to play for the Indonesian National Team. He uses his idols as motivation to continuously improve his skills and achieve success.
The support of friends who also enjoy soccer further fuels Kenzo's enthusiasm for training. This circle of friends further motivates him to continue developing and participating in various competitions.
Going forward, Kenzo is determined to participate in more tournaments. He will also improve his skills through technical training, games, and physical exercise.
"I want to continue participating in tournaments and training harder so that my skills will improve," he said.
Kenzo's achievements demonstrate that the Islamic boarding school environment can provide a space for students to develop their potential, including in sports. His enthusiasm and perseverance are part of the journey of Al-Amin students in honing their talents and daring to compete.
