Mojokerto, Al-Amin – The Board of Trustees of the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School inspected the condition of the students' dormitory on Tuesday (July 28, 2026). The visit was conducted to assess the students' conditions, basic needs, and their adaptation process during their initial education at the boarding school.
The visit was led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Amin Putra Islamic Boarding School, KH. Akhmad Jazuli Aziz, along with the boarding school leadership. Also present were Ustadz Muhaimin, Member II of the Board of Trustees, Ustadz Ali, Member I of the Board of Trustees, and Ustadz Hanafi, Head of the Board of Trustees.
During the visit, the trustees visited the new students' rooms and held direct dialogue with them. The conversations were held to assess the students' condition and to assess their familiarity with their new environment and friends at the boarding school.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the supervisor to learn about the students' needs and experiences while at the dormitory. Attention to simple things, such as food and friendships, is part of the Islamic boarding school's efforts to help new students adapt to life at the boarding school.
In one of the rooms, a lighthearted conversation took place between KH. Akhmad Jazuli Aziz and a new student. Kiai Jazuli asked about the student's meal that day.
"What side dish did you have?" asked Kiai Jazuli.
"Chicken," replied one of the students.
This answer created a lighthearted atmosphere in the meeting. Kiai Jazuli then continued the conversation by asking about the student's relationship with his new friends.
"Do you know your friends' names?" he asked.
"Not yet, some of you have, some of you have," the student replied.
This simple conversation demonstrated the adaptation process the new students are undergoing. Some students are already getting to know their friends, while others still need time to adjust to their new environment.
Kiai Jazuli then encouraged the students to enjoy life at the Islamic boarding school. He also responded to students' responses about the food with a joke that lightened the mood.
"If you say it's delicious, it means you feel at home," said Kiai Jazuli.
The direct presence of the caretakers at the dormitory demonstrates the Islamic boarding school's concern for the new students. In addition to checking on their well-being, the visit also provides the caretakers with an opportunity to interact directly, ensuring the students feel comfortable with the Islamic boarding school environment and the leaders who will accompany them throughout their studies.
The initial period of entering an Islamic boarding school is a crucial stage for new students as they adjust to a lifestyle different from their previous environment. Therefore, support from the caretakers, ustadz, and the surrounding community is essential for a smooth adaptation process.
Through this visit, Al-Amin Putra Islamic Boarding School demonstrated its concern for the students' comfort and needs from the very beginning of their education. It is hoped that the students will adapt quickly, build good relationships with their peers, participate in Islamic boarding school activities in an orderly manner, and experience a comfortable learning experience.
The visit by the Board of Trustees is part of an effort to build closeness between the Islamic boarding school leadership and the students. Through direct communication, students' needs and conditions can be identified early, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment.
