Mojokerto, Al-Amin — Ahead of the start of the 2026/2027 academic year, the teachers of the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School conducted a pilgrimage to the graves of their founder and several saints on Tuesday (July 7, 2026). This activity was part of a spiritual endeavor to seek blessings and a smooth start to the new academic year.

The pilgrimage included visiting the shrine of the founder of Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School and the graves of saints, including Kiai Aziz, Kiai Mas'ud, Sunan Giri, Shaykh Maulana Ishaq, Shaykh Maulana Ibrahim Asmoroqondi, and Sunan Bonang.

During the event, the asatidz (Islamic teachers) offered prayers for the health, ease, protection, and blessings of all students, asatidz (Islamic teachers), staff, and the extended family of the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School.

"This pilgrimage serves as a reminder that the struggle to uphold knowledge and morality must be based on sincerity, prayer, and respect for our predecessors," said Ust. Muhaimin, member 2 of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School.

Besides being a means of prayer, the pilgrimage also served as a momentum to strengthen the brotherhood and unite the spirit of devotion of the asatidz as they welcomed the new academic year.

"May every step be part of an endeavor, every prayer a path to the blessings of Allah SWT, and every trust always be under His guidance," he hoped.

Through this activity, the Al-Amin family hopes that the 2026/2027 academic year will be full of blessings and be the beginning of the birth of a generation that is knowledgeable, charitable, and has noble morals.
