MOJOKERTO, Al-Amin (Oct. 24, 2026) — KOPASMA Al-Amin IIBS has etched a remarkable milestone at the Ma’arif Creative Camp (MCC), organized by the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Board (PCNU) of Mojokerto Regency in commemoration of National Santri Day. Beyond securing a multitude of accolades, KOPASMA successfully attained the Ultimate General Champion (Juara Umum Terbaik) title, driven by the outstanding accomplishments of the male and female contingents, as well as the base contingent across various competitive disciplines.
A total of 14 prestigious awards were garnered, encompassing eight first-place titles. These accolades spanned a diverse array of categories, ranging from scouting proficiencies—such as Morse code and pioneering—to recreational games, short Quranic surah memorization, semaphore dance, team chants, and artistic performances.
Underlying these achievements is a rigorous and demanding preparatory process. Over the course of three weeks, the participants engaged in intensive daily training sessions following their academic hours. Furthermore, they were required to meticulously balance their time between competition preparations and the dense schedule of boarding school (pesantren) activities.
"Practicing every day after school for three weeks presented a unique challenge. We had to divide our time with boarding school routines, prayers, and meals, which inevitably reduced our resting hours," articulated one of the participants.
Despite confronting limitations in time and physical stamina, the santri (Islamic boarding school students) persevered to deliver their utmost performance. Unwavering diligence, discipline, and team cohesion served as the foundational elements in their journey toward this triumphant outcome.
This success does not mark the culmination of KOPASMA's journey. They harbor profound aspirations to reclaim the first-place title in the forthcoming year and secure the rotating trophy. Moreover, they envision advancing to the national level in Cibubur, and ultimately participating in international scouting competitions in nations such as the Philippines and Thailand.
The Ultimate General Champion title stands as a testament to the santri's relentless zeal to continuously develop, excel, and bring honor to the Al-Amin IIBS institution.
