Mojokerto, Al-Amin (Oct. 3, 2026) — The cohesion and discipline of Al-Amin IIBS students (santri) were once again put to the test at the LASKAR Marching Skill Competition (Lomba Keterampilan Baris-Berbaris/LKBB), organized by SMAN 1 Sooko in Mojokerto Regency. In a contested event featuring 30 teams at the junior high school (SMP/MTs) level, the Al-Amin marching squad successfully secured the title of Most Promising Team (Juara Potensial). Each participating contingent consisted of 16 personnel who demonstrated their proficiency and synchronized execution in marching formations.
To prepare for the competition, the Al-Amin squad underwent rigorous routine training emphasizing fundamental movements, complex formations, synchronization, and discipline. Navigating the challenges of maintaining focus and unifying the members' cohesion became an integral part of their preparatory journey.
"We are profoundly grateful to have achieved this standing. Although it was not the ultimate position we initially aimed for, gratitude remains the fundamental key to sustaining our spirit and motivation," articulated a representative of the squad.
According to the team, discipline, collaboration, and an unwavering willingness to learn are crucial elements in navigating any competition. Furthermore, they acknowledged that this achievement was made possible through the comprehensive support of their coaches, officials, teachers, the institution's administration, and their parents.
The squad also imparted an encouraging message to their fellow santri, urging them to embrace new challenges and exhibit courage in entering competitions. "Do not be afraid to try, and never feel inferior before stepping onto the field. Keep practicing, maintain your team cohesion, and never surrender easily," the team advised.
It is anticipated that this milestone will serve as a strong catalyst for Al-Amin IIBS students to continuously evolve, elevate their capabilities, and carve out further achievements in subsequent competitive arenas.
