Mojokerto, Al-Amin – Another proud achievement has been attained by a student at MTs. Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School: Azka Fathonil Muazzam, an eighth-grade student, won first place in the 2026 district-level Indonesian Madrasah Olympiad (OMI) held September 7–9, 2026, in the Integrated Science category.
This success is a testament to Azka’s dedication and hard work in developing his academic abilities, particularly in the field of natural sciences integrated with Islamic values. This achievement also demonstrates the madrasah’s commitment to supporting students’ potential to compete and achieve their best results.
OMI is an event that encourages students to hone their critical thinking skills, broaden their horizons, and deepen their understanding of science. Participation in this competition also provides students with an opportunity to build self-confidence and gain competitive experience.
In response to this achievement, Azka expressed his gratitude and joy over the accomplishment. He hopes this achievement will serve as motivation for him and his friends to continue growing.
“I’m very happy to have achieved this. It makes me even more enthusiastic about participating in future competitions, especially since there’s a reward from my parents if I win. I also want to tell my friends not to complain easily when they feel they aren’t smart enough, but to keep learning and trying, because our abilities can grow if we’re willing to put in the effort,” said Azka.
It is hoped that this achievement will inspire other students to keep learning, dare to take on new challenges, and develop their skills according to their individual interests.
Congratulations to Azka Fathonil Muazzam on his achievement. May this accomplishment be the first step toward further success and bring honor to Al-Amin IIBS at an even higher level.
