Mojokerto, Al-Amin – The courage to seize opportunities can pave the way to new achievements and experiences. This is exactly what Nayda Husna, an 11th-grade student at the Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School, experienced when she won first place in the Aswaja and Islamic Religious Education Olympiad organized by the Mojokerto City PCNU to commemorate National Santri Day (HSN) 2026.
Nayda’s participation in this competition began with an opportunity provided by her school. She then prepared by studying and conducting research to deepen her understanding of the material that would be tested.
This preparation presented its own challenges, as Nayda had to manage her time amid a busy schedule and her responsibilities as part of the organizing committee. Nevertheless, she strove to go through the preparation process as best as she could, ultimately achieving a success she had not previously anticipated.
Interestingly, Aswaja had not been one of Nayda’s primary interests. However, through this competition, she gained the opportunity to study Aswaja more deeply while also gaining valuable new insights.
“In my opinion, just be confident and don’t be afraid to try as long as there’s still a chance. Competitions aren’t just about winning or losing, but also about the experience and the learning process,” said Nayda.
Nayda’s experience serves as a reminder that success doesn’t always stem from something one has already mastered. The courage to try, the willingness to learn, and the dedication to the process are also crucial elements in achieving success.
Congratulations to Nayda Husna on her achievement. May this accomplishment motivate her to continue growing and inspire other students to dare to seize opportunities and treat every experience as a learning opportunity.
